New Hampshire has a Free State Project, organized mainly by libertarians, but anyone can be part of it, since their only mission is to encourage liberty-minded people to move to New Hampshire. I'm a progressive-libertarian myself. But non-libertarians are welcome as well. Some FSP members in New Hampshire are interested in a Free Town Project too, but I don't think they're very organized yet.
New Hampshire also has NHCRN, which is a Community Rights Network. They are very well organized and operate in several states. They have had real success at helping a number of towns and cities achieve a considerable degree of local sovereignty, two of which are in New Hampshire, I think, i.e. in Barrington and Plymouth.
There's info on these efforts in the Free Towns Project thread at forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?board=63.0
There are no longer any people there discussing these things, but a few hundred do read what's posted there, apparently. So I hope to have discussion here with people who are aware of the police state that is apparently forming rapidly.
Some things I want to do here are
1. try out an economics game similar to Monopoly, but with the goal of all players prospering instead of only one player prospering; it's meant to be sort of a simulation for helping to develop Free Towns;
2. discuss and collaborate on how to spread the word to get people to start or join Free Towns and solve potential problems that any Free Town may have.
I welcome any productive comments, discussion, collaboration.
